useful Improvements in Advertising Devices, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact-description.

The object of myinvention is to provide an advertising tag or card having means by which it may be attached to posts, trees and other parts, in such a manner that it may swing and sway in the wind, and to'pro' vldewmeans whereby such advertising card or tag may be aflixed at points beyond the reach of the hands, and, in fact, at points which may be deemedto be entirely inac c'essible. lhis object is secured b providing the advertising tag or-card wit a point-.'

In firing the gun, the hand grip K is moved forward until it engages the pin h, and a further forward movement of the hand grip K compresses the spring h and moves the beveled end of the safety rod H from beneath the trigger. A gun for use in attaching advertising cards or tags, comprising a projectilebarrel having an openin to receive the projectile, and a slot leading from said openmg to the end of the barrel, a spring barrel located beneath the projectile. barrel and slotted along its upper and lower surfaces, a registering slot in the projectile barrel, a spring in the spring barrel, a plunger acted upon by the spring and projecting into the projectile barrel and below the spring -barv rel, a pivoted dog arranged to engage the lower end of the plunger, a trigger for releasing the dog,a sliding safety rod beneath the spring barrel arranged to en age the trigger, a spring normally holding the safety rod in engagement with the trigger, and a sliding hand grip adapted to move along the safety rodfor the purpose of moving the plunger along the spring barrel and set the spring and to remove the safety rod from engagement with the trigger.
