This invention relates 10 safes and m0re particular]y t0 safe (IOOIS.
The principal 0bject 0f the invention is the provision 0f a safe preferably 0f spherical 01 globula1 f0rm which is prov1ded, with a. threaded opening hnving 0ne 0nd enlarged and the 0ther end c0ntracted (0 form binding sh0ulders, which 1211101 are provided with annular recesses 01 gr00ves in th0 vertical faces there0f, und a Hneuded (1001 adapted (.0 0ccupy the opening und having projecting flanges adapted t0 seat und bind within the nnnular recesses when fhe door is moved t0 closed position.
A further object of the invention is the rovision 0f a safe 0f spherical f0rm hau ing o u ide r0ds arranged (herein and ab0ve the (1001 0pening 0f the safe a threaded d00r adapted-t0 occupy the opening in the safe, and means slidably m0unted upon the guides a.nd pivotally c0nnected with the 1111181 face 0f the d0or whereby the 01001 may be revolved t0 unlock the same and be pushed inwardly 0f the safe, the said guides sup portin the d001 in 0pen position within the Sa e.
VVith these and other 0bjects in view, as Will uppear as the description proceeds, the invention comprises the various novel features 0f construction and arrangement of arts which Will be m0re fully described and set f0rth with particularity in the appended claims.

Projecting forwardly from the center 0f the 0ute1 face Qf ehe d001 T is a stud 01" projecti0n 12 up0n which is arranged a handle 13 held in place by suitable means n0t shown. Arranged within the safe is a pair 0f spaced horizontally extending guide r0ds 15, whieh lattex: have their ends suitably secured 130 the inne1 Walls 0f the safe. Mounted t0 slide up0n the said guide rods is a V shaped hanger 16 Which has its lower end pr0vided with a bearing sleeve which surr0unds the bearing 111g 14 und is securely held in place 9y the nut 14 0n the end 0f the bearing From the above described construction it will be readily apparent that the handle up0n the d00r may be grasped t0 revolve the 01001 and disengage the 831118 fr0m the fr0nt Wall 0f the safe, the d001 7 being m0ved inwardly of the safe by unscrewing th0 same, and supported through the medium 0f the hanger 16 Which also moves inward of th0 safe upon the guide r0ds 15 with the (1001 7.
