Having thus fully described the invention, what'I claim as new, is 2-- A valve spring lifting device comprising v a rack, a casing slidably mounted on the said rack, the said rack being extended through the casing, a pinion revolubly mounted'in the said casing and engaging the said rack, a locking bar mounted to turn on the casing and adapted for releasably locking the said casing relatively to the said and a handle for connectionwith the said pinion to operate the 'saine in the said casing.
