This invention relates to paper boxes; and it.

My improved paper boxes are fastened by rivets of tough metal, which are withoutheads, and are bent at each end after being inserted. I force them through the lapped parts of the box, preferably from the inside, and `Isecure them b'y bending both ends of the rivets, which are considerably longer than the thickness of the stock, over against the surface and clinch' them down snugly thereon.
Having thus described my inventiongI claim` as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- A paper box Whose sides and edges arefastened.. together by @headless tapering sheetmetal rivet, as shown, and applied in themanner specied.
