Be it known that I, NEWEL A. Jenner, a
.citizen'of the UnitedStates, residing'at Coal'inga, in the county of Fresno, State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in l)rill-Presses; and l do declare the following-to be a full, clear, and exact: description of the same, such as 'will enable. others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference beingr had` to the accompanying drawings, and to the characters of reference marked thereon, which form 'a part of this 'llhis'invention relates to improvements irldrills and drill presses of all kinds, the object of thehinvcntion being to drill press which willbore or dril a square hole. l
A further object ofthe invention is to produce a simple and inexpensive device and yet one which will be exceedingly effective for the purpose for which itis designed.
These objects, I accomplish by means of such structure and relative arrangement of parts as will fully appear by a perusal of the following specification and claims.
In the drawings, similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in the several views.

On the sleevev 12 is apinion 30 intermesh ingr with the pinion wheel 10 said pinion 30 i being keyedto slide vertically on said sleeve 12.' In order to change the stroke of the drill to bore a smaller or larger hole, the head 26 of the pin 25 may be operated to tuin` around whereby the member 1,9 will be moved up or down on the member 20 thus making the operation of. the moreinent'of4 the member 19-20 in the 'member 14, greater or less as is desired; which, of course, increases or decreases the. size of the hole. Vith this upward 'or downward movement of the member 19, the member 17 is moved up or down on the member 16 permitting said adjustment.
