Abstract

A method for heat recovery of converter gas comprises the steam removal from the cooler of converter gas, the supply of stream is formed in the cooler into overheater and storage, the supply of overheated stream to the inlet of stream turbine with electric generator, the increase of stream excess and condensate to deaerator and the return of deaerated water into the cooler of converter gas. Condensate is supplied from the storage into the evaporator of low-boiling substance, where it is cooled due to boiling of the low-boiling substance. The cooled condensate in evaporator is returned into the storage where it is mixed with hot condensate, and the condensate is supplied into the cooler of converter gas through deaerator finishing of the evaporative cooling cycle.
