Abstract

Installation for drying solid isolation of transformer high-voltage terminals comprises an electrically conductive cylindrical airtight drying chamber, a heat insulator, two insulating heat-resistant sleeves to fix the ends of the current-carrying pipe of the high voltage contact, high-frequency generator, vacuum drying chamber system, the capacity for collecting condensate, temperature sensor and pressure gauge in the drying camera, low-voltage measuring bridge. Additionally it is equipped with two temperature sensors. At that all the three temperature sensors are contact ones and are located on the surface of the solid insulation of the transformer high voltage terminal so that the middle sensor is located at the same distance L from edges of the solid insulation and the other two are spaced from the nearest to them edges of solid insulation by distance 0,1L. Each temperature sensor output is connected to the corresponding input of data processing unit the output of which through automatic adjustment device is connected to the input of a controlled power source, and the output of the last one is connected to the input of high-frequency generator.
