Abstract
The present invention relates to equipment for grinding bulk materials and can be used to grind grains for producing flour and groats, as well as for grinding natural minerals, mortars etc. A mill consists of a movable upper and lower fixed disks, on which grinding arcuate grooves are located, whose profile is made in the form of an area of logarithmic spiral described by the formula ρ=aeφ, where ρ - radius of the profile of groove working surface; a = const; k=ctgα; α = angle of intersection of a curved line coincidng with the groove working profile, with a ray that goes from its point; φ - current value angle of rotation of the radius of curvature of the line coinciding with the groove working profile; e - base of natural logarithm. The grooves of upper and lower disks are directed in the same directions relative to each other and their profile decreases from maximum in the center of the disk to minimum on its periphery. Such design can significantly improve the quality of grinding, increase productivity, and use the mill for dehulling various grains to produce groats (corn, buckwheat, wheat, millet etc.).
