Abstract

A wind-electric plant with vertical axis of rotation includes a rotor with blades arranged in horizontal positions, those are installed with possibility of turn by a given angle on the rotor on the first rods and consist of two parts each, the upper and the lower ones, generator that is kinematically connected to the rotor, a support, second rod-restrictor installed with possibility of displacement in the slots of the first rod and kinematicaly connected to the drive that performs the displacement. The upper part of the blade is fixed to the first rods immovably, and the lower part of the blade is fixed to the upper part of the blade by means of a hinge that is placed behind the front section of the lower blade and has a counter-weight that is installed at its front part, this has a streamline aerodynamic form, and its center of gravity is displaced in such way that under conditions of absence of wind flow falling from the side of the counter-weight it goes down and rests on the second rod-restrictor. The first rods are installed on several trolleys that move round the vertical axis by the rails support and are connected one to another with a non-stretched thread, for instance roller chain, to that one a generator is kinematically connected.
