Abstract

A device for conversion of wind energy to useful mechanical energy consists of a support with shaft placed in it, and cylindrical body lower base of which is fixed immovably on the support, a rotor with blades placed in the body and rigidly connected to the shaft and a mechanism for speed stabilization. The body additionally has a guide tail that is fixed immovably at its upper base at outside. In the side surface of the body two inlet openings are provided for wind flow inflow to the body and the outlet opening for wind outflow from the body.
