Abstract
The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to a method for producing complex carbon-containing slag-forming materials based on waste of vegetable-derived carbon, lime and / or limestone and iron oxides sludge or dust-gas cleaning equipment of steel production and / or concentrates, containing iron oxides and their reduction and heat treatment (RHT). The method involves mixing the waste and their cooperative reduction and heat processing in the temperature range between 300 and and the excess coefficient of oxygen= 0.5-0.85, and the ratio of initial charge components, containing C, CaO and FeO, is adjusted according to their content in the produced material with predictable properties and purpose within the range of C - 5-70 wt. %, CaO - 30-80 wt. %, FeO - 10-50 wt. %. The invention provides property regulation of slag-forming material that enhances the possibilities of application thereof in steel melting, refining its composition, out of furnace processing with improving the quality of the produced steel, recycling of metallurgical production waste.
