Abstract

A method for processing unusable toxic pesticides on the base of ethyl ammonium salt of 3,6-dichloropicolinic acid into useful substances that can be used as chemical reagents in chemical synthetic practice by processing pesticide on the base of ethyl ammonium salt of 3,6-dichloropicolinic acid by aqueous solution of acid HX, where X is Cl, NO, ½ SO, and an aqueous solution of acid of 5-96 % by weight concentration is used in molar ratio of pesticides: HX = 1.0: 1.1, the reaction mass is held at intensive stirring up to 30 minutes and under the temperature of 35- and then it is cooled and resulting precipitate of 3,6-dichloropicolinic acid of general formula (1) is isolated by filtration, washing with alcohol, cold water and air drying, and to the filtrate formed at isolation of 3.6-dichloropicolinic acid 15 wt. %-alkaline solution and solution of carbon disulfide in benzene are added, the reaction mass is held heated up to , cooled and the resulting precipitate of alkaline salt of ethyl dithiocarbamic acid of general formula (2), where Mis K or Na, is filtered and dried in air, in the case with addition of NH the acidity of the reaction mixture is controlled up to pH = 7., (1)(2)
