Abstract

The invention relates to light industry, in particular to design of spring bases of furniture mattress. A spring mattress base contains a majority of interconnected spiral springs in shells. The same springs are uniformly distributed on the area and are fastened by upper and lower shell ends to solid covering of the base, which are made of flexible non-stretchable textile material. On the separate sections of coverings, where local increasing elastic stiffness of the base is needed, at least one additional layer of flexible non-stretchable textile material is fixed or on the separate sections of coverings, where local increasing elastic stiffness of the mattress base is needed, at least one additional layer of flexible non-stretchable textile material is fixed and the springs are installed with stiffness which is by 5-25 % higher than one of the major part of springs. As covering layer a nonwoven material is used having density of 100 to 500 g/m2, thickness of 0.5-6 mm, with longitudinal and transversal elongation of 30 to 60 %. The technical result is in the simplification of design, enhancement of processability of the base production, provision of sections of different elastic rigidity for satisfying needs of consumers with various weight and special body features.
