Abstract

The invention relates to metallurgical industry and can be used at manufacture of the thin strips and sheets. A method of high-speed cold rolling strips is carried out on a continuous 7-stand mill with subsequent distribution of relative reduction in the stands: in the first three stands reduction of the strip is increased from 25 % ÷ 30 % to 40 % per step, in the fourth stand reduction value is equal to the value of reduction in the first stand, and in the next three stands value of reduction is gradually reduced to 7 % ÷ 10 %. The invention allows to improve quality of cold-rolled steel reducing lateral thickness variation and improving geometrical shape of the strips, to create the optimum temperature conditions as well as fully utilize the resource of plasticity of low carbon steel at the conditions of deformation with total relative reduction of 90 %.
