Abstract

The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to a method for agglomeration of ore materials. A method includes separate preparation of charge, containing iron ore, coke and limestone chippings, into the two layers through mixing, wetting and pelletizing with the further charging of the lower layer on bedding, ignition and burning the bottom layer of the charge by drawing air through downwards, and then the downloading and agglomeration the top layer is carried out, at that to the top layer of the charge coal or biomass is added as coke fines. The invention provides 18 % increase in vertical speed of charge sintering, fuel combustion, and, consequently, environmental safety, cost reduction of manufacturing units of agglomerate weight and increasing energy saving of this technology.
