Abstract

The invention relates to vibration-pneumatic separators and can be used in mining, concentrating, and building industry. A separator for separating bulk materials comprises a working box, rigidly fixed from one side to the box frame by locking devices, and from the other side it is hingedly connected to the frame with possibility of reciprocating movement of an eccentric-rod drive mechanism connected to an electric motor through a speed variator. The box frame is installed on the supports with possibility of reciprocating movement, in the case the supports are mounted on a rotary frame, a perforated deck with grooves is mounted on the box and is divided into three areas along the length and each area has a diffuser connected to an air duct. According to the invention, the perforated surface of deck is made in the form of three areas of rectangular sections rigidly interconnected and installed along a broken line in the longitudinal direction. The plane of the first area has an angle of inclination to the horizon for 3-8° in the longitudinal direction and length of 25-30 % of the total length of broken perforated surface, the plane of second area is inclined to the horizon for 6-14° and has length of 25-30 % of the total length of broken perforated surface, the plane of the third area is inclined to the horizontal for 9-16° and has length of 50-40 % of the total length of broken perforated surface. The entire surface of deck is inclined to the horizon for 4-11° in the transverse direction. Use of the invention provides improved separating bulk materials.
