The snare is fixed by retention suture around centering prominence of distal part of intraocular lens haptics, which prevents sliding and displacement of suture and secures stable fixation and maximal centering of intraocular lens during intra- and postoperative periods. Then the suture is fixed beneath the scleral flap by making 4 stitches parallel to limb in horizontal meridian, which enables reliable fixing of the suture.
