An environmentally sound method for recycling culm banks provides for preliminary classification of material subject to concentration on a bar screen with release into an oversized product of +100 mm class followed by its crushing to -100 mm class, and combination with the undersized product for joint supply for gravity concentration followed by dehydration of resulting products and condensation of the slime water in a hydrocyclone, wherein the grizzly screen for preparatory classification is set at a vertical angle 5-10° and horizontal angle 5-15°, after preparatory classification from the oversized product the coal-mineral intergrown pieces are removed for further crushing, then the crushed material is combined with the undersized product followed by uniform supply of controlled amount of material subject to beneficiation to a classification screen for separation of the machine class, beneficiation in a jig in the mode of increased deposition time proportional to the length of its loading compartment, the resulting waste is further dewatered on the screen, and thickened slime product is dewatered on a high-frequency screen with a slit of screening surface of 100-120 microns.
