Abstract

A process for the preparation of radiationally safe slag-alkaline binders based on waste furnace slags and alkaline components consists in dispersion to furnace slag fractions, grinding and mixing particular slag fraction and aqueous alkaline component. The preparation of slag-alkaline binders is carried out with use of comminuted factions of waste furnace slags with high content of hydraulically active components and low radioactivity level by tempering and mixing of slag component with 20% NaOH solution or 42.4% sodium metasilicate NaO· nSiOsolution or with soda-alkaline melt as production waste.
