Abstract

The relevance of creating a universal barrel with a replaceable chamber is due to the fact that various companies produce universal firearms. The versatility of weapons of different companies is that weapons of one caliber could be converted to another caliber. This is achieved by replacing the barrel of one caliber with a barrel of another caliber. 70 The caliber of rifled weapons is usually measured by the distance between opposite fields in the barrel. Therefore, the indicated caliber of cartridges for rifled weapons is, in fact, the caliber of the weapon for which this cartridge is intended.

In addition to numerical expressions of calibers, there are other characteristics that determine the type of cartridge case.

As you know, cartridges of the same caliber, but with sleeves of different sizes and shapes, with grooves or grooves near the bottom of the sleeve, are absolutely not interchangeable. The information given after the designation of the caliber is the length of the case in 12 millimeters and its type (flange or flanged cases are indicated by the Latin letter "K"; flangeless cases, which are especially widespread these days, are usually not marked).

Due to the fact that none of the known solutions provides for the construction of a barrel with a replaceable chamber, the claimed universal barrel for a hunting carbine does not have a prototype.

Co. The task of developing a design of the barrel is set as the basis of a useful model, in which, due to the execution of the chamber variable, the simplification of the design of the barrel and the expansion of functional capabilities are ensured.

The task was solved by the design of a universal barrel for a hunting carbine, made in the form of a muzzle part and a breech part, inside which there is a landing cavity, in which a replaceable sleeve is placed, in the body of which a chamber is made, while on the inner surface of the breech part of the barrel, in the 60 place of execution the landing cavity and the external surface of the replaceable sleeve are threaded, in the rear part of the breech part of the barrel, there is a groove for fixing the bolt stops, and on the outside of the breech part of the barrel, there are pins for fastening the barrel, between which there is a groove.

The universal barrel for a hunting carbine is made in the form of a muzzle part 1 and a breech part 2.

A channel 3 is made in the muzzle part 1 of the barrel, and a landing cavity 4 is made in the breech part 2 of the barrel, in which a replaceable sleeve 5 is placed. A chamber b is made in the body of the replaceable sleeve 5, and a thread 7 is made on the outer surface of the replaceable sleeve. On the inner surface of the breech part of the barrel, in the place where the landing cavity is made, a thread 8 is made. In the back part of the breech part 2, a notch 9 is made for fixing the shutter stops (not shown in the drawing). On the outer surface of the breech part 2, pins 10 and a groove 11 are made for fixing the barrel on the bed 12 of the receiver 13. On the upper part of the bed 12, a protrusion 074 is made, which enters the groove 11 when the barrel is fixed on the receiver 13. Holes are made in the body of the bed 12 15 for pins 10, on which nuts 16 are screwed.

The claimed barrel is used in this way. The replaceable sleeve 5 is screwed into the seating cavity 4 of the breech part 2. After that, the barrel with the replaceable sleeve 5 and the chamber b is fixed on the receiver 13.

The main advantage of the declared barrel is exceptional versatility. The barrel and chamber of this design allows you to use any cartridge of the same caliber group from the smallest to the largest. It is this type of barrel that allows you to abandon the manufacture of weapons and barrels for different types of cartridges from the same group of calibers, as is customary in the production of modern weapons.

The use of the declared universal barrel is possible not only in hunting or sports firearms, but also in any other weapon, both automatic and non-automatic firearms - army weapons.
