Abstract
A method for predicting the survival of the patients with the tumors of stroma of the genital cord comprises immunohistochemistry of the samples of resected tissues with the measurement of the percentage of the cells positive for the receptors to estrogens, progesterone, testosterone. When less then 10 % of cells are positive for estrogen and progesterone receptors and more than 10 % of cells are positive for testosterone receptors, the favorable course of the disease is predicted.
