Abstract
The method for treating the syndrome of the chronic pelvic pain in genital endometriosis comprises organ-sparing reconstructive surgery performed endoscopically and the complex hormonal therapy with the combined oral contraceptives. The endometrioid biopsy is sampled from the resected area of the ovaries intraoperatively. The proliferative activity of cells is assayed examining expression of Ki-67, estrogen and progesteron receptors in epithelial cells of the ectopic endometrium. For the therapy, Dienogest is provided as the innovative progestagen followed by the combined oral contraceptives.
