Abstract

A circular array relates to antenna techniques and may be used in radiolocation, direction finding, radio navigation and electronic guidance. The circular array comprises N antenna elements which are arranged circular-wise in equidistant manner, N phase changers, N attenuation networks, an adder and a control unit, output of which is connected to phase changers control inputs and attenuation networks. Output of each phase changer is connected to input of the corresponding attenuation network. M multiplier units are incorporated to the circular array, where M equals to a number of connections comprising N antenna elements by two, (M–Ν) phase changers, (M–Ν) attenuation networks. Attenuation network outputs are connected to adder inputs. Each multiplier unit output is connected to input of the corresponding phase changer. First and second inputs are connected to outputs of m-th and q-th antenna elements, correspondingly, m=1, 2 ..., Ν, but q=p+1, where p is residue of division (m+n-1) by N, n=l, 2 ..., L, where: L- an incomplete quotient as a result of division of N by 2. The technical result is increase of antenna array directivity factor over a wide range of frequency.
