Abstract
The method for preventing the diabetic ketoacidosis following the surgery in the lungs and the pleura in the patients with concomitant diabetes mellitus and tuberculosis of the respiratory organs comprises the administration of glucose and short acting insulin according to glycemia level. In addition, the following drugs are administered: Xylate solution, Reamberin 1.5 % solution, Tivortin 4.2 % solution, 1.2 % solution of alpha-lipoic acid, and Milgamma solution.
