Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the separation of vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride from organochlorine residuals by alkali dehydrochlorination of 1,2-dichloroethane and 1,1,2-trichloroethane contained in organochlorine residuals with use of NaOH aqueous solution which contains calcium hydroxide in ratio of NaOH : Са(ОН)as 1:2, in amount of 20-30% of reaction mass of organochlorine residuals, at temperature of 50-75 °С for 1-2 hours while thorough mixing at 150-300 rpm.
