Abstract

A method for the treatment with shared urethrocystostomic drainage contains transvesical one-step adenoectomy, hemostasis in prostate bed, and drainage of the urinary bladder. The polyvinylchloride drainage is inserted antegradely through cystostoma. The drainage has the elongated opening positioned within the urinary bladder. Foley catheter is inserted into urethral canal. The closed drainage system of siphon type is used. The antiseptic solution is administered into the bladder via urethral catheter and is removed via vesical drainage. Upon the completion of the irrigation, suprapubic drainage is removed on the 6-7th day following the surgery. Urethral drainage is removed on the 9-10th day. The functional part of the polyvinylchloride drainage has the elongated opening ( x ) and the round opening ( in diameter) located downstream. The urethral part is inserted into urethra. The antiseptic solution is administered into the bladder via urethral catheter and is removed via shared urethrocystostomic drainage. On the 3-4th day, the drainage is removed from the urinary bladder and cut between oval and lower round openings. The distal part is sutured with the string in diameter and fixed onto anterior abdominal wall with the float. On the day 9-10th following the surgery, the fixed string on the float is cut and removed with the urethral part of the drainage.
