Abstract

Method for non-destructive diagnostics of pre-failure state of electric equipment with high-voltage windings is intended for use in electric power engineering for prediction of possibility of damage of insulation of main equipment with high voltage windings (power and measuring transformers, electric machines) at effect on those from side of power supply network of inner overvoltages. The method is in measurement of resistance of insulation in frequency range 0-150 kHz through additional determination for calculated mode of resistance of power supply network with respect to points of connection of the electric equipment named above in frequency range 0-150 kHz . Then one determines resonance frequencies of power supply network and insulation of electric equipment that are compared to each other, if resonance frequencies are close or coincide – one makes conclusion on large probability of damage of insulation of electric equipment, this provides possibility of taking measures as to change of resonance frequencies of power supply network and as result increase of reliability of operation of electric equipment. The invention provides increase of reliability of operation of electric equipment and as result decrease of losses related to repair of equipment and interruptions in electric power supply to consumers.
