Abstract

A method for fine abrading cylinder holes of parts of high-speed rotation made of high-alloy composites comprises rotation of a workpiece around its axis with simultaneous removing a chip from the hole surface by a rotating abrasive tool. The abrasive tool axis is parallel to the part axis with rigid contact of the tool with a working surface and moving along the workpiece axis. For treatment the abrasive tools are used which are made of green silicon carbide with an elastic glyptal bond with intensive feed of a coolant.
