Abstract

A windmill has a body in which a turbine impeller is placed, this is mounted on vertical shaft to which in radial direction blades in rectangular form are fixed. Round the turbine impeller a guide apparatus that is fixed to the body without possibility of motion is installed, this looks like two walls placed horizontally as rings connected to each other with guide plates in rectangular form placed between the walls in tangent with respect to the axis of vertical shaft of the turbine impeller direction. The guide plates of the guide apparatus look like trapeziums to the end side surfaces of which walls as cones with truncated tops are attached. The tops of the cones are directed towards each other, and geometrical axes of the cones combine with geometrical axis of the vertical shaft of turbine impeller. The blades of the turbine impeller, from the side opposite to the vertical shaft, are rounded in tangent with respect to the axis of the vertical shaft direction to the side of effect of wind flow. The windmill is equipped with covers arranged at above and at beneath in such way that between the covers and the walls of the guide apparatus a circular gap is formed, this is arranged with possibility of decrease of air pressure in volumes between the covers and the elements of construction of the windmill.
