Abstract
A windmill includes a cylindrical wind wheel with blades fixed on horizontal shaft and a box-like confuser installed before the wind wheel, with outlet opening directed to the blades of the wind wheel. The box-like confuser is arranged as spiral-like, with formation at outlet of vortex chamber with outlet opening that directs air flow to blades of the wind wheel in tangent direction, and the wind wheel that is placed in the vortex chamber that surrounds the wind wheel. The windmill is additionally equipped with a radial air turbine installed in the chamber of spiral-like box diffuser. The outlet opening of the vortex chamber is arranged on one of side walls of the vortex chamber and is connected to the chamber of radial turbine with possibility of direction of air flow to its blades, at that the wind wheel and the radial turbine are installed on one shaft.
