Abstract

A hive for wild bees contains a body and nest units. The hive includes the front wall having openings to allow the bees flying in separated for several parts with strips of wood, attached on the internal side of the front wall, which divide the space in front of the nest units into separate sectors.

Sapada Okazha: Sapada Oer. Adgis., 1973. 30 (Ipiogt. Oim., RIBY. 1495)) is a drawer without a front wall, into which nesting blocks are inserted, made in the form of a package of grooved plates with an open front edge.

The disadvantages of the prototype design are: 1) the openness of the front wall of the socket blocks; 2) lack of 70 landmarks for bees within the nest blocks; 3) difficulties in ensuring an optimal microclimate in the hive; 4) insecurity of bee nests from parasites and predators.

The basis of the useful model is the task of creating a beehive for wild bees, which, due to structural elements, would be able to ensure: 1) an optimal combination of the closure of the front wall of the nest blocks and their accessibility for bees; 2) the presence of a sufficient number of distant and near landmarks; 12 3) optimal microclimatic conditions inside the hive 3) protection of bee nests from parasites and predators.

The set task is weighed in such a way that the beehive for wild bees, which includes a housing with nesting blocks placed in it, is supplemented by a front wall made in the form of a frame that frames a plate with round or rectangular holes, the size and number of which are determined by the species-specific characteristics of bees. inhabiting the hive, while the plane of the nozzle wall is located at some distance from the front walls of the nest blocks, and on the inside the wall has rails that divide the flight openings and the space in front of the nest blocks into separate sectors.

The front wall of the beehive partially covers the nest blocks from direct sunlight, rain and moisture, gusts of wind, which ensures more uniform microclimatic conditions inside the beehive, favorable for the bees and favorable for greater synchronicity of the development of bee brood. 3o The design of the hive provides better protection of bees from parasites and predators. This is achieved due to the fact that the openings of the front wall are used by female bees as general flight openings.
