Abstract

An installation for continuous thermal recovery of thermo-plastic waste includes reactor of thermal decomposition with system of outer heating, hoppers for reactor loading and unloading, branch pipe for discharge of vapor-gas mixture from the reactor, multi-contour circulation system, pipelines for return of heavy liquid fraction to reactor. The reactor is arranged as an upturned truncated pyramid placed at angle 25-45°, and the loading hopper is placed at the axis of the pyramid at the side of its smaller base. At the output from the loading hopper a tip is placed, as a truncated pyramid, with the lower base of that one hermetically connected to the smaller base of the reactor pyramid. The outer surface of the tip is equipped with a jacket of water cooling, and inside therof, on the upper and the lower side surfaces of the pyramid a lug is placed, its cut is a right angle triangle the top of which is directed towards the hopper. On the upper side wall of the reactor a vertical chamber is hermetically mounted, its inner volume is connected to the inner volume of the reactor. On the side surface of the reactor under the vertical chamber horizontal bafflers are installed, on the opposite walls of the vertical chamber windows are installed with marks “maximum” – “minimum”. Multi-contour circulation system and pipelines for return to reactor of heavy liquid fraction are mounted in the upper section of vertical chamber.
