Abstract

The invention relates to thermal recycling of high-molecular plastic waste to form low-molecular liquid and gaseous fuel. A plant for continuous thermal recycling of thermoplastic waste comprises a pyrolysis reactor with a system of external heating, hoppers for loading and unloading the reactor, an outlet for discharging the gas-vapor mixture from the reactor, a multicircuit circulation system, a piping for returning to the reactor of heavy liquid fraction. The reactor is made in the form of an inverted truncated pyramid angled at 25-45° to the horizontal. The loading hopper is located from the side of its minor base, at the outlet from it a tip is located in the form of a truncated pyramid, whose minor base is tightly connected to the minor base of the reactor pyramid. The tip has a water cooling jacket, and inside it protrusions are located in the form of right triangles, whose apexes are directed toward the hopper. To the upper side of reactor a vertical chamber with horizontal bumpers is attached. The multicircuit circulation system and piping for returning to the reactor of heavy liquid fraction is mounted in the upper part of the vertical chamber. At the end of the major base of the pyramid a vertical shaft is attached, at whose bottom a latch is located for removal of a solid residue. The invention facilitates continuous thermal decomposition of high-molecular polymers into liquid and gaseous fuel with separation of solid residue from liquid and volatile components.
