Abstract

The method consists in performing periumbilical access, administering 0.5% solution of Novocain to the extraperitoneal fat, and applying square-topped sutures through the aponeurotic edge of the hernial gates without opening the hernial sac. The periumbilical access is performed from supraumbilical and subumbillcal incision along linea alba.
