Abstract

A method for purification and heat recovery of blast furnace gas includes wet purification phase of blast furnace gas and heat recovery of water, cooling dusty furnace gas circulating in a closed loop of cooling and cleaning of blast furnace gas. The heat of cooling water is recovered by heating and evaporating the working medium of steam turbine. Low boiling liquid is used as the working medium of steam turbine. Simultaneously electricity is produced, and the temperature of the purified blast furnace gas is controlled in dependence on the temperature of the cooling water in a closed loop of cooling and cleaning the furnace gas with the change of flow rate of water supplied to the circuit from an external source.
