Abstract

A method for prevention of microelementosis and hypovitaminosis in young cattle comprises the ration correction with a mixture of chelate compounds (methionates) of deficient microelements cobalt, manganese, iron, zinc, selenium, which is thoroughly mixed with combined fodders and is fed to young cattle. Additionally the rations are enriched with microelements copper and iodine and vitamins A, D, E, C and fodder yeast using preparation "Mikrovitan" at following components ratio (wt. %):
