Apparatus for continuous producing and finishing of sheet of fiber material includes a heated pressing unit in the form of a continuously operating two-strand finishing press with working surfaces forming a gap for pressing sheet from layer-mat containing at least mixed with one binder chips, fibers and other particles containing lignocellulose and/or cellulose, an arrangement in the form of rollers for applying a coating on the sheet and a device for embossing or shaping. The rollers of arrangement for applying coating on the sheet of the layer-mat are installed with possibility of contact by its working surfaces with the working surface of heated pressing unit directly before inlet in the gap for pressing.
