A method for production of diamond composite material includes mixing diamond powder and tungsten-containing powder binder, sintering diamond in thermodynamic stability range. In addition, mixing is carried out in a liquid medium, as tungsten-containing binder tungsten and/or tungsten oxide is used in the form of nanodisperse powder taken in amount of 10-50 % by weight of dry mixture, after mixing drying the mixture is conducted, and sintering is performed under the temperature of not less than 1600 °C.
