A method for treating the lumbar radiculo-ischemia due to the sequestered hernia of the intervertebral disks comprises preoperative diagnosis of the topographic and anatomical variants of the sequestered hernias of the intervertebral disks by spiral computed tomography and magnetic resonance tomography applying interlaminary access. In the cases of foramenal and posterior-lateral sequestered hernias, interlaminary access is performed with arcotomy, partial facetectomy, foraminotomy, low invasive microsurgical decompression of the spinal cord, its radices and blood vessel with assisting videoendoscopy. In the cases of paramedian and median hernias, posterior interlaminary access is performed with the resection of the adjacent edges of caudal and cranial arches up to their core with the partial facetectomy, the assisting videoendoscopy, and microdiskectomy.
