Abstract
A method for open mining of mineral deposits by which one carries out opening works with formation of open-pit field, with extraction of minerals by sequential extraction of rock layers in direction from above downwards, with placement of opening rocks in dumps in mined-out space of pit and in border space. At stage of implementation of opening works one marks highwall in height to sections for sequential extraction of rock layers, one marks highwall to flange blocks, at stage of formation of contour of the open-pit field one arranges work sites, with opening at one of flange blocks minerals at width of the upper section. At stage of extraction of each layer of rock of the upper section one performs formation of near highwall massif at work site of each section. One alternates implementation of opening works with extraction of minerals in flange blocks of the upper section.
