A method for making a bifidus-containing fermented-milk drink of functional purpose provides for normalizing of the initial milk, heating, treating, heat treatment, cooling up to the temperature of adding a starter, adding the starter, ripening. After the treatment heating and homogenizing the milk is carried out. After the ripening the curd is cooled, lactulose syrup is added thereto and mixed. While normalizing, fructose is added into the milk. Mixed cultures of the probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium breve are added to the cooled milk. The ripened curd is cooled, the lactulose syrup "Lactusan" is added thereto and mixed. The activization of the probiotic cultures of the bifidobacteria is carried out by means of cultivating pure cultures of Bifidobacterium in the sterilized milk mixture which comprises nonfat milk, fructose and dry cheese whey.
