Abstract

A device for the temporary immobilization of the scrotum contains the suspensory and the attachment elements. The suspensory is designed as a basket consisting of the lower arch in the frontal plane and the rigidly attached upper arch located at the angle of 130-135° relative to the lower arch. The convex parts of the arches are directed upwards and downwards, respectively. Furthermore, there are three additional arches, central arch and two lateral arches generating the pocket of the basket, the convex parts of these arches are oriented forward. One end of the central arch is rigidly attached to the inflexion of the lower arch. The lateral arches are attached rigidly to the upper arch and to the lower one in the middle distance between the attachment points of the central arch to the upper and lower arches and the joining points. Moreover, at the joining points, the fastening elements designed as the fixing arches with their convex parts upwards are rigidly attached. In the inflexions, there are the arch-shaped extensions, 5-6 cm in the width and 2-3 cm in the height. Both fixing arches are attached at the angle of 70-75° relative to the upper arch.
