Abstract

An exoskeletal orthosis includes a proximal cuff; an ankle section/footplate; at least one posterior strut connecting a rear of the proximal cuff to a rear of the ankle section/footplate, and an upper knee orthosis section connected to the proximal cuff and comprising at least one stretchable band affixed on each side.
