Abstract

A technique for choledochojejunoanastomosis provides for the use of endoprosthesis. Under the general anesthesia, the anterior abdominal wall is cut. The small intestine is switched off by Roux technique. The bile duct is mobilized. The end-to-end anasthomosis is applied between the choledoch and the jejunum with the aid of the synthetic sutures and non-traumatic needle. The mucosa of choledoch is connected with the mucosa of the jejunum. The serosa of the jejunum is connected with the adventitia of the choledoch. The synthetic (steel) prosthesis is fixed (two thirds beneath the wall of the bile duct and one third beneath the wall of the intestine). After the drainage of the peritoneal cavity through the counterapertures, the wound is sutured layer-by-layer.
