Abstract

A lantern wheel mechanism of interrupted rotary motion of driven link consists of two movable links, at that the driven link is spool wheel, drive link with same cams displaced by given angle with possibility to perform in one turn of cams step-by-step rotation of driven link by 120° with stopping. On the drive shaft three cams are rigidly fixed, one of those accelerates the driven link (lantern wheel as disc) by chosen law to respective angle, the other has five more teeth that uniformly rotate it, and the third is for locking links at running out of lantern wheel.
