Abstract
A compact-material for treatment of cast iron in a ladle contains powder-like filler-core of components of filing slag-forming mix contains burnt dolomite, staurolite concentrate, carbon material and granulate magnesium is included in steel case. As carbon material iron-graphite wastes of blast-furnace production are used, refining foam, in the following ratio of components: (burnt dolomite) : (staurolite concentrate) : (iron-graphite wastes) : (carbon material and granulate magnesium) = 1 : (1-2) : (1-2) : (0.05-0.10), corresponding to stoichiometric structure of eutectic aluminum silicate 2CaOMgOAl2O3SiO.
