Abstract

The method comprises the cut of the major blood vessels, namely the aorta and the pulmonary artery, their anastomosing with the corresponding cardiac valves, and the translocation of the coronary arteries. Prior to translocation, at least one longitudinal cut of aorta is performed within its narrow part. The difference in the diameters in anastomosing the remnant of the pulmonary artery at its proximal area and the distal end of the cut aorta is compensated by the different length of the stitches in the aorta and the pulmonary artery.
