Abstract

An invention relates to the utilization technology of diazote tetroxide, which can be used for the utilization of oxidizers of rocket fuel based on it. The utilization process of diazote – oxidizer tetroxide of rocket fuel with the preparation of thermally expanded graphite consists in that graphite treatment by water solution of perchloric acid is carried out in the presence of sorbent, stable to the action of perchloric acid. The realization of utilization process of diazote tetroxide is carried out in two processing stages: on the first stage fuming nitric acid is obtained, and on the second – thermally expanded graphite nitrate. The graphite is treated by fuming nitric acid, taken in quantity from 20 to 70 weight parts to 100 weight parts of initial graphite.
