Abstract
The proposed method for simulating hypothyroidism in rats implies removing the thyroid gland of the experimental animal and separating nerve terminals. The method is distinctive by applying, before removing the thyroid gland, retaining joints to the skin section, administering novocaine solution to the animal, and providing the thermocoagulation of the neck and arteries of the thyroid gland. The nerve terminals are removed from the parenehima of the thyroid gland.
