Abstract

The cargo electric bicycle contains a frame structure on which a steering mechanism is fixed, which contains a steering column, a steering linkage and a handlebar on which two brake handles with limit switches, a throttle handle and a gear shift handle are located. A driven front wheel, a driven rear wheel with an electric motor connected to a controller and a battery pack; a seat, levers with pedals on which the drive sprockets are placed; a central footrest, a cargo platform in which the battery pack connected to the controller and the electric motor is located; a hinge connected to the fork of the front driven wheel is fixed on the steering rod. A rear sprocket cassette and a gearshift mechanism are attached to the drive rear wheel by means of a threaded connection. The rear sprocket cassette is connected by a chain drive to a set of drive sprockets, which are located on a lever with pedals. The brake handles are connected to the controller; the throttle handle is connected to the electric motor through the controller; the gearshift handle is connected to the gearshift mechanism. Additionally, the front guard, rear guard, luggage rack, plain bearings and lighting devices are introduced. The frame structure is additionally reinforced with stiffening ribs; the front guard is located above the front wheel and connected to the frame structure; the rear guard and luggage rack are located above the rear wheel and connected to the frame structure. Lighting devices are located on the frame structure and wheels and are connected to the battery pack. Plain bearings are mounted on the steering arm and connected to the steering column.
